The content of this website is for your own personal viewing/use only and must not be duplicated, published or used to assist any third party. Nor must the images be used, save to a hard drive, used in email etc.
MAKING A PURCHASE
When placing an order with us, you are agreeing a contract with us. All prices are shown in £’s (Sterling).
We accept all major Debit/Credit cards. Our payments are processed by our secure checkout partners: NOCHEX and PAYPAL, We will also NEVER see your card details and you do NOT have to register for an account.
We use this information to dispatch your order and for notifications about your order, such as processing and dispatch info etc.
We dispatch Worldwide. Please see Delivery Page for our current dispatch times. It is the responsibility of you, the purchaser, to ensure that all orders are placed in plenty of time before the date required. If sufficient time has not been left by the purchaser to receive the products in time, Paper Memories are not responsible and refunds will not be issued.
ITEMS LOST IN TRANSIT
Once your order has been placed you will receive a confirmation email, you will be emailed on the day of dispatch to confirm your item/s have been posted. Orders are sent by Royal Mail 1st or 2nd class Recorded Delivery and should be delivered within 2 – 5 working days after dispatch. However, once dispatched, we cannot be responsible for parcels and if your order does not arrive when expected please allow a day or two for any delays in transit. Please also check to see if your order has been left with a neighbour, as the Royal Mail will be rolling out it’s ‘Deliver to a Neighbour’ scheme nationally (see below for details) if not, please check with your local Royal Mail depot as calling cards are NOT always left with attempted deliveries.
If, after checking with your neighbour and local depot your order has not been located please contact us within 48 hours and we will conduct an investigation and where applicable send replacements or issue a refund. If it is close to the date your order is required, please do not delay in contacting us, as failure to do so, may mean that replacements cannot be made in time for your event.
ROYAL MAIL’S ‘DELIVER TO A NEIGHBOUR’ SCHEME
From the end of September 2012, the Royal Mail will be rolling out this scheme nationally. This means that any parcels that are too big to fit through the letterbox and you are not home to take delivery will be delivered to a neighbour. Please read the Royal Mail’s FAQ’s page, for more information.
In accordance with the Distance Selling Regulations we do not normally accept returns for our personalised and handmade to order items. Exceptions to this are damage during transit or errors in personalisation by us (please refer to PERSONALISATION & COLOUR CHOICES below). If you wish to return an item you MUST advise us within 48 hours and any item/s that you wish to return must be returned to us within 7 working days of taking delivery of the goods. We cannot accept responsibility for any returned items which are lost in transit on their way back to us. Upon receipt of the item we will arrange a replacement or refund. Any refunds issued, will be for the full purchase price and original delivery costs. The return delivery costs will be the responsibility of the buyer.
As our products are handmade and personalised we cannot accept cancellations, however if you need to make any changes to your order please notify us by email within 48 hours of your order and we will always try our best to accommodate any alterations.
All products are described as accurately as possible with clear and concise information on the relevant product page. However, please note that some of our products are bespoke and handmade to order and as testament to this, slight variations in colour, positioning of text, embellishments etc. may occur but this does offer the added re-assurance that you are receiving an original and unique piece. (Personalisation details shown on the product pictures are intended ONLY as an example, and products purchased will be personalised with the details as requested by the purchaser).
You, the purchaser, are responsible for ensuring that personalisation details are correctly entered into our product option boxes. Any mistakes made by the buyer can be rectified but will incur a charge. Any mistakes made by us will be rectified free of charge but must be reported to us within 48 hours of receipt of goods. Please Note: We CANNOT accept personalisation details that include: threatening, defamatory, indecent, offensive or discriminatory content.
If buying more than one item in separate orders please note that we use a number of suppliers for card, ribbon and fabric and there can sometimes be slight colour variations.
Some of our products contain small parts and are intended for decorative purposes not as toys and as such are NOT suitable for children under 3, adult supervision is required at all times. We, Paper Memories cannot be held responsible for any incidents arising from the misuse of any products purchased from us, it is the responsibility of the purchaser to ensure goods purchased are used in the correct and proper manner in which they are intended.
